Well made point, Sam.How does Tom Wark feel about this???
Michael, Yeah, this is a bit of a "roar"...not "rawr", that's a whole nuther thang.Thomas, I'm not just talking about wine blogs, (in fact the one that pissed me off this morning was not a wine blog) but it seems to be happening more often the podcast deals....worried that people are going to forget how to read, and write all together. To Tom's credit he is still writing for his blog. I was worried that he was going to go all video...would miss "reading" Fermentation. Plus I don't think Tom reads this silly thing anyway...and um, we don't have to tell him do we?!
I thought you had lost your mind for about 5 seconds. I clicked on that damn thing about 3 times before I scrolled down and saw that you'd written something, and then my world righted itself again!NOW, I can laugh!!!
Sam,I appreciate that there are some talented video/audio wine bloggers out there, but with blogs I prefer to skim, look for something interesting, and then go back to read through if it catches my attention. And even then I can read it a lot faster than listening to someone talk about it. My own foray into this realm was mostly an experiment, and to serve as a public announcement that I don't sound like I just fell off the turnip truck or that I conduct my wine reviews from a tarpaper shack with a bunch of hound dogs under the porch. :)Cheers,Benito
My first reaction to the title was "not bloody likely!" ROFL
Vicki, Sorry Lady, didn't mean to screw with ya, but after yesterday and your mocking of my being jerked around...you might deserve it a bit!Benito, Anyone that reads your blog, or emails for that matter knows how passionate and NOT a hey-seed you are....very smart, very into "it" cat and I adore you.John, Sounds like you know me and some junk....
I wasn't even sure how to push play on the thing.Love, Amy
Sam,Love your blog and would love to see you wax poetic on Rayas via VIDEO! Give Vaynerchuk a run for his money. AJR
My Gorgeous Samantha,I'm thinking of doing a podcast of HoseMaster of Wine. I was just going to dub old episodes of Hawaii Five-O with Alvin and the Chipmunk voices talking about wines. It's really cool, but I look stupid in Hawaiian shirts. And everything else. Your HoseMaster
Amy, But I love you for trying!Andrew, Um, I am so excited I could piddle...a new reader! Hooray! Thanks for reading and posting but I have to ask, what's a Vanderchuck?Ron, I might even click on that podcast, linkie dealie...sounds funny as shit. Oh and by the way, I think you look adorable in Times New Roman, Ariel or a Hawaiian shirt. Your support of me and this silly blog make you one of the most adorable people ever...well, you and the other 10 people that read my lame ass rants!
Sam,I agree with you on the podcast, but it would be nice to see your shining face once in awhile! Alas, I'll have to wait till I am once again visiting LA...Jess
Jess, Awe thanks darlin'...wait, shining face?! I am I secretor...crap, that seals it, never doing podcasts.
