You Spin My Head

Right round, right round, like a record baby, round, round, round, round.

Only wish it were a wine. No, this time I am being spun by a pretty severe case of vertigo. Sucks far more than I can tell you....mostly because sitting here looking at this screen, all bright with letters darting across it, well it just adds to shit that is already whizzing by my head.

So please forgive me if I am silent for a bit.....and wish me luck, got not one but two nights of sold out fried chicken and Champagne tasting to not only speak in front of, but pour for....whimper. Send all the good vibes you can folks, I'm gonna need it.

    I love you, Samantha
    Be well!

  2. Incredible.

A long time ago, I developed an inner era infection that put me on my ass for months. My head spun and spun, especially on my right side, which was he location of the ear infection.

I was told that a particular night of debauchery in 1971 had precipitated the problem, and I believe it. It was done by stingers--about six of them.

All these years later, I still have trouble with dizziness when lying on my right side.

Stress brings it on even more...so Sam, reduce the stress.

  3. Ron My Love,
I love you too Sweet Man and while I crave a snuggle from you I will take those vibes and that tracking number. xoxoxox

    Thomas,
Dude, we are so freaking alike. My right ear is the cause of my vertigo, not from booze but from summers in the water and year after year of swimmer's ear. Just this afternoon my right ear finally started to throb, feel warm and hurt so I think, or I hope things might be coming to a head. Fuck do I hope so. I am so tired of being flattened, away from work, unable to read or write much, (everything is taking twice as long, remember?)I wish I could not stress but with 80 people, plus the store counting on me...im-poss-ible. But thanks for the advice and reminder that you and I kid, we were connected long before we met.

  4. It doesn't sound like benign positional vertigo, but the Epley maneuver might help. Google it and see if that works. Stranger things have happened. Keep hydrated; the cochlea loves to be moist....but then don't we all.

  6. Winey,
I know I always do. I have been doing that maneuver, my cousin sent me a link (she's a doctor that also suffers with vertigo) but she thinks maybe I need to have it done TO me rather than do it myself and again, "don't we all?"...thanks for chiming in darlin, I know you have some skills.

  7. Sam,

It really is amazing how much we share at such a distance.

When exactly is your birthday? Maybe that was the night a friend and I downed those stingers in Greenwich Village. I was so young then...

  9. Wrong date. That was, however, my father's birthday.

I believe your Jeremy and I almost share a birthday.

If we stretch it, we could call it all a coincidence ;)
