See Ya Later....

About to hop on a plane to this here joint....

Next time you hear from me I will be sitting like here and junk!

The hubby won a reward trip and I will be spending the next three days in the Florida Keys but seeing as he will be golfing and all, I will have time to chat.

Big Hugs
Sam

  1. Get a bicycle--it' so easy and nice to ride the Keys. If you are in Key West, eat and drink the Cuban-influenced fare.

  2. That's very very cool!!! Enjoy your time! Do you guys need a golf caddy or perhaps a personal bell hop? I won't talk a lot and I'll bring along my own wine stash. ;)

  3. My Gorgeous Samantha,

As long as you're there, replace the dead light bulb in the chandelier.

Amazing. It looks exactly like my house on the inside! Only without the mirrors on the ceiling.

Have a fantastic time, My Love! Enjoy a pool boy or two.

    I love you!

  5. Thomas,
Yeah about that...here is something very few people know, (so what's 16 more?) I don't know how to ride a bike. Shameful I know but it is a fact. Anyway I am in key Biscayne, so not near Key West...any tips on what to eat here?

    Jeremy,
    Thank you Baby!

    Annie,
    Dag-nab-it....too late.

    Ron,
Leave it to you to find the burned out bulb. I adore you My Love.

    Sip,
Will do lady. Only one night of obligatory work BS and then I am free do do as I wish. How freaking nice does that sound?!

  8. Beach vacation, nice!
You'll be in Florida and I'll be in Dublin, we just moved a bunch of time zones closer making those cosmic hugs that much easier to send!
Have a great time Lady :-)

  9. TWG,
I saw high rises on the way in but the view from my room....all ocean! In room wine choices are Cakebread Chardonnay and Chalk Hill Cabernet and last night, with the grilled lobsters, Steven Kent Chardonnay. I'm not really a Rum girl but the have a Tequila specialist on staff here so.....wish me luck!

    Sara,
Big virtual hugs to you sweet girl.

    KG is NOT MY Daddy,
How much do I love that you thought of me?! Congratulations Sir Charles and here is to hoping that the Lakers kill Phoenix, (nervous about that) and your Celtics can move past Orlando....this could be fun!

  10. Ah well, I've never been to Biscayne, but groper and sundry swimmers are the rage in the Keys, if the Gulf spill hasn't made an impact.

As for the bike, you won;t believe this, but I didn't ride my first bike until I had turned 22--too poor to own one when I was a youngster.

I was afraid to start at such a "late" age, but once I did go to a bike shop for lessons in Washington, DC (I was in the military at the time) it took me 20 minutes to stay upright unattended and a total of 25 minutes to ride a bike. You can do it.

  11. Sam,

Forget the groper--go for the grouper instead...

  12. In Miami SoBe you may want to check out Sardinia or the sister resto next door: Casale with rooftop seating.

Pacific Time in the design district has good food, not that crazy about the wine.

Las Culebrinas in the Grove(Coconut Grove just across the causeway) is part of a local chain but is highly recommended by my wife. Apparently a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
