I don't taste them too often and when I do I find that icky brown sugar thing in a lot of them...hate that in Pinot Noir especially. The wine had that regal stature that I so adore and I would love it if you would recommend some others that you think might rock me like that wine clearly did. I trust few with my palate, you my friend have my complete trust!Samantha Duganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05214278596698698245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4819829113979242722.post-54986710355491223662009-09-20T20:26:21.344-07:002009-09-20T20:26:21.344-07:00My Gorgeous Samantha,

And Rhys is at the forefront of those wines. I think his examples will force the entire appellation to make better wines. Will they rival Burgundy one day? Who cares? He doesn't make them to beat Burgundy, he makes them to reflect the amazing place where he grows the grapes. His wines are already better than 90% of the Burgundies out there, how much higher can he go?

That said, Volnay has a special place in my heart too. Just like you do.

I adore you,

Your HoseMasterRon Washam, HMWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238869156614617705noreply@blogger.com
